218 High Street, built in 1949, is located in a historic district in Valdosta, Georgia. The owner’s goal was to provide “curb appeal.” for a private residence. We provided design services for exterior improvements in accordance with the local Historic Ordinance. The work included adding a front porch and reconfiguring the roof, repositioning the windows and doors and introducing historically appropriate materials for the building envelope.
