Erin Vaughn joined the firm as a full time Project Architect and has since become a partner in Gladwin Vaughn Architecture, managing projects in both Florida and Georgia. She also has experience designing specialty, resilient coastal and inland homes.
Erin leads the firm in the production of design and construction documents using Building Information Modeling. She also manages construction administration tasks, selects interior finishes, and generates 3D rendering imagery for current and proposed projects. She is able to carry any scale of project from conceptualization to completion.
Her specialty is in innovative design with a sustainability focus that is both practical, contextual, and beautiful. Historic Preservation and Rehabilitation has been the focus of her career, with a passion for the reuse and reinvigoration of existing buildings.
Vaughn maintains memberships in the American Institute of Architects, USGBC, Georgia and Florida and National Trusts for Historic Preservation and is involved with local mentorship programs in her community. She is a Green Assessor for the Georgia Trust GREEN Program, and a FEMA Safety Assessment Program (SAP) Evaluator AIA Volunteer.
