The historic rehabilitation of the Southern Salvage buildings consists of a 21,000 SF historic rehabilitation, renovation and adaptive reuse of a historic building from vacancy to a law firm. Two separate but connected three and four story masonry buildings, the project will follow the Secretary of Interior Standards for Rehabilitation and will be eligible for tax credits. New work includes a new elevator, shaft and enclosed, rated stair that connects the two buildings. The new interiors and systems will reflect the new owner and new use, a law firm that will occupy both buildings. Offices, workstations, conference rooms and other spaces associated with the new program will be provided within the two buildings. Extra care was provided for architectural acoustics throughout the facility.

This project will receive Federal and State Historic Tax Credits.
